Reverend Natalya A. Johnson

Reverend Natalya A. Johnson, MDiv, BCC, is licensed and ordained in the Baptist Church.

Rev. Johnson is the Coordinator for Hospital Spiritual Support Services for the NorthBay Healthcare system, serving Northern California’s Solano County residents. Rev. Johnson is Board Certified through the Association of Professional Chaplin’s. She joined the NorthBay Healthcare system in 2015 following 10years of service with the California Pacific Medical Center of San Francisco and 1year with the San Francisco County Jails.

A native of San Francisco, California, Rev. Johnson received the Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Television and Radio with an emphasis in Television Production from San Francisco State University. Her Undergraduate work includes studying abroad for one year at the Queensland University of Technology of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Rev. Johnson is a Masters of Divinity recipient from the Graduate Theological Union: American Baptist Seminary of the West, Berkeley, CA. Following seminary, Rev. Johnson completed eight units of post graduate work with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Educators Inc., a nationally recognized accrediting agency in the field of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through the U.S. Department of Education. Rev. Johnson’s clinical specializations include: Integrative Medicine Education, Palliative Care and Critical Incident Stress Management.

In 2011 Rev. Johnson was honored by the National Council of Negro Women Inc. as “Woman of the Year.” In 2010 Rev. Johnson was honored as an "Unsung Healer" by the San Francisco Interfaith Council. She is an active member of the Association for Professional Chaplains (APC), and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a Public Service Sorority.

Rev. Johnson currently resides in Vallejo, CA and has one daughter, Camryn. Rev. Johnson is bright and compassionate. She is a companion for people as they encounter and navigate crisis moments along life’s journey. She loves live music. Loves dance. Loves Rugby and Loves every opportunity to empower God’s people.
